People’s Choice Winners
Questions Before You Vote?
Is this part of the official Miss USA competition?+
Yes. People’s Choice is an official part of the road to Miss USA and Miss Teen USA 2026. The results directly shape who competes in the Top Twenty at the national pageant.
What do the winners receive?+
A confirmed place in the Top Twenty. Three winners come out of the Miss division and three out of the Teen division. While the rest of the field waits on the semifinal announcement, they arrive at nationals knowing their spot is already theirs.
Do the winners still compete at nationals?+
Yes. They compete like every other contestant. The difference is that they start from the Top Twenty, with the first cut already behind them.
How many rounds are there?+
Three. All 51 contestants in a division start in Round One, and the top 25 advance. Round Two narrows that to 15. Round Three decides the three winners.
Do votes carry over between rounds?+
No. Every round starts from zero. A big lead in Round One counts for nothing once Round Two opens, so the contestants who keep their supporters coming back are the ones who last.
Who can vote?+
Anyone. You do not need to know a contestant personally or have any connection to the pageant. If you have a favorite, you have a say.
How much does it cost to vote?+
Daily votes are free. Every fan can cast one free vote each day for as long as voting is open.
How many times can I vote?+
You get one free vote every day. Coming back daily is the single biggest thing you can do to help your favorite climb the standings.
Can I vote for more than one contestant?+
Your daily vote goes to one contestant, but you are free to choose someone different each day.
How are the results decided?+
By the count. At the close of each round the votes are validated and the leaders advance. No judging panel weighs in on People’s Choice.
Does People’s Choice change how the judges score?+
No. Judging at the national pageant proceeds exactly as it always has. People’s Choice decides three of the Top Twenty places in each division, and the judges take it from there.
When does voting close?+
Round One closes August 9 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. The final round closes August 23 at the same hour, and the winners are announced once the last standings are verified.
